We can’t say enough about how great of an experience we had with BWED. We ordered the whole package for wedding planning as neither of us are very detail oriented people. I had a very basic idea of what I wanted for our wedding and Valerie completely understood my style and helped me brainstorm ideas for everything from timelines, to decor, to bridesmaid dresses! She helped us find all of our vendors, contacted them, and setup our meetings with them to discuss what we wanted. 

 

Our wedding went more smoothly than I could have imagined and I literally had nothing to worry about the whole day. I was amazed when I saw how beautiful everything looked and how many details were included that I would have NEVER thought of until it was too late. She was worth every penny. If you want a stress free wedding I would highly recommend Valerie. It was absolutely the best day of my life.

Valerie is great at what she does!  With the size of our wedding we were a bit nervous with regards to planning and choosing our wedding vendors, but Valerie made the process stress-free.  She was organized throughout the entire wedding planning experience.  She was persistent with making sure that all of the vendors were going to deliver what they had promised and she brought our vision to life.  She has an eye for details and we trusted her to make decisions on things that we weren’t able to be there for.  I was so relaxed on my wedding day that I almost fell asleep when I was getting my hair and makeup done!   We had a rainy wedding day and we were very impressed by Valerie’s flexibility and problem solving skills to make our big day perfect for us!

Valerie deserves so much credit for making my wedding day as perfect as it was! I asked a lot of Valerie as my day-of coordinator, and she truly went above and beyond.  I am a Type-A perfectionist and knew that I’d need to find someone who was on my wavelength when it came to my wedding.  After our initial meeting, I knew I was in good hands with  Valerie.  She is one of the few people I’ve met who has just as much of an eye for detail and mind for logistics as I do!

 

The best part of having Valerie there on my wedding day was that I didn’t feel like I had to worry about a thing.  She was always one step ahead and I never felt like I needed to check in with her to make sure everything was running smoothly.  I had given her my timeline for the day, and she carried it out to the letter.  When things shifted slightly, as they always do at an event like this, she adjusted as necessary and the party carried on seamlessly.

My boss was in attendance and commented that I must have had the BEST day-of coordinator, because he never thought he’d see me at an event where I wasn’t running around and organizing things.  I was able to totally relax and just enjoy the day, which was the greatest gift.

Working with Valerie to plan our wedding was so amazing. She made the planning process fun and had so many suggestions that we never would've thought of. On the day of, she made everything effortless and stress-free. All we had to do was show up, and she was on top of the rest. She made sure everything was perfect and really made our vision come to life. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her!

When I met Valerie at the local bridal fair through a mutual friend, I knew right away I wanted to rent from her. She has a sincere and sweet personality and I could tell she truly cares about details and getting things right for her clients. She has unique, eye-catching items that made our simple wedding more special. The items I rented from her definitely completed our desired look. I absolutely loved the look of the wooden cross we used for our focal point during our ceremony, as Christ is the focal point of our marriage, so using that piece was very meaningful to us. Right from the get-go and throughout the months before our wedding, Valerie was extremely professional; always checking in as our date drew nearer, and being very clear and upfront about arrangements.

 

She was also very flexible with my schedule and I was so thankful she offers delivery and pick-up of the rentals!!! I was very pleased with her service and will recommend her (I already have!) to any other brides I know! I am happy to support her business and am very thankful she has begun her business in this area as she is just what Helena needs! Thank you, Valerie!

Valerie. Was. AWESOME! I was skeptical when my fiancé (now my wife) told me she had hired a wedding planner to make sure things ran smoothly at our wedding. I thought wedding planners were for the rich and famous! HA! I couldn't have been more wrong. Valerie was incredibly detail oriented and organized EVERYTHING without having to bark orders. Our wedding was perfect, largely because of the role Valerie played in making sure everything went according to plan... I'm not entirely convinced that she didn't have something to do with the sun coming out for our ceremony. 

 

I can't recommend Valerie at Belliveau enough. Her services were worth every penny, and would still be a great value at twice the price!

Valerie was in a word awesome. 

 

To explain just how awesome, I have to set the stage a little: (1) I had no idea what a huge big deal a 200 person wedding reception in a non-traditional venue would be; and (2) My mom was very nervous about trusting someone else to decorate and get everything looking just so for when the guests arrived.

 

When Valerie agreed to help me as a day-of coordinator it was only one month before the wedding. She sat down with my mom and me and went through every detail of how we wanted the reception decorated and followed up with emails and texts to make sure she had it all straight. It was great. I immediately had someone I could count on to help me get it all done. She spent three hours at the reception venue with us going through all our ideas and taking careful notes. She was painstaking in making sure we had it all just as we hoped for the big day and when it arrived she thoroughly met our expectations. She was professional, organized, discrete and detail oriented. I felt very comfortable knowing she was helping make everything a success behind the scenes. I could trust her judgement and was delighted with how she handled every detail. 

 

In the end, Valerie pulled off a "rock and roll" style reception at the historic Myrna Loy brilliantly - helping ensure all of our guests had the time of their lives. I didn't have to worry about a thing and the best part was my mom didn't either. She completely enjoyed all the fun that a daughter's wedding reception should be. Valerie helped us with babysitters, picking up goods from around town, organizing vendors, helping with rides for out-of-town guests, chilling the champagne, managing the crowd and the food, and keeping the evening ticking along as we had hoped. She and her team helped set up and take down all the equipment too. She also followed up with the various after-party clean up details and made sure everything was accounted for.

 

We are so thankful for Valerie and her excellent work on our wedding day. My husband and I both agree it was the best day of our lives. We could not have done it without her!
